Celebrate EL 2024 Schedule of Events |
Summer Concert - Aug 21Join us tonight, Wednesday, August 21, at CENTER FIELD, as we close out our concert series with a performance from Changes In Latitudes, a Jimmy Buffet Tribute, starting at 7 pm. Sponsored by Westfield Bank and Bay Path University. Parking will be available at the surrounding public lots. Please use marked cross walks. For patrons with mobility issues, including handicapped parking, reserved parking will be available behind the bleachers, with extra assistance available to get you to the field. Center Field hosts many sports events, as well as local geese. Be cautious when walking the field. Chairs are recommended. Limited trash cans are available. Please use the receptacles near the Concession Stand and Bandshell. Our concession stand will be open at 6:30 pm. Any weather updates will be posted here, on our website at elrotaryclub.org and on WWLP. Hope to see you there. August 14 and August 21 concerts will now be at CENTER FIELD. February 2023 UpdatesCouple of Quick Reminders 2023 Scholarship Applications from high school seniors who are residents of East Longmeadow are due by February 24, 2023! elrotaryclub.org has the announcement and scholarship application (under homepage downloads). February 23, 2023, EL Rotarians will be at the COA building, North Main Street at 6:30pm putting together backpacks with supplies for vulnerable youth with the Family Advocacy Center distributing them. Efforts are aligned with efforts to raise awareness of Human Trafficking in conjunction with Underground NE. Please come join us, learn more about our project and Club. FYI - The 2023 Concert Line-Up will be out soon! July 3rd will include fireworks. The link to donate toward the fireworks is on the home page under our Board of Directors.  |
2023 Scholarship AnnouncementEast Longmeadow Rotary Club Announces the 2023 Scholarships ~ high school seniors living in East Longmeadow eligible East Longmeadow Rotary Memorial Scholarship Foundation Incorporated ($20,450 total for 2023): Earl MacDonald Memorial Scholarship : $3500 James E Davis Memorial Scholarship: two at $2100 each Douglas Burack Memorial Scholarship: two at $2500 each Jean Ference- Burack Memorial Scholarship: two at $2500 each ELRMSFI General Scholarship: $2750 E.L. Human Trafficking Awareness Care Pack EventThe Rotary Club of East Longmeadow and Underground NE held a forum to discuss Human Trafficking Awareness on January 11, 2023 at ELHS. Thanks so much to ELCAT for taping! Our next event is a family outreach event to create care packs for the vulnerable. If you wish to donate items, please drop them off at WB Hill, 305 Shaker Road, East Longmeadow (inspection side - parts department) between 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and 8a-12p Saturdays. Please join us on February 23, 2023 at 6:30pm at Pleasant View, 328 North Main Street, EL to put together the Care Packs.  |
Celebrate EL 2021The Rotarians of East Longmeadow welcome you to join us for Celebrate EL 2021 on September 25th from 12pm to 6pm in Center Field, East Longmeadow. Bring the family for Live Music, tractor rides, pumpkin painting/decorating, face painting, henna, yard games/family fun games, skills games, costume contests, trunk or treat, touch a truck and MORE.
