WELCOME BACK EAST LONGMEADOW and our local community friends!  Following what everyone endured the past 15 months, the East Longmeadow Rotary Club is eager to pick up where we left off, working with the community to make East Longmeadow a better place to live, work and share special times with family and friends.

We would like to thank our community partners and collaborators from our Rotary Year 2020-2021. Without our community coming together, our Rotarians may not have been able to bring you the virtual July 4th Parade, Heritage Park Beautification Project, Celebrate EL 2020 Halloween Drive-Thru, Holiday Light Up the Night, Valentine’s Day Drive Thru and Egg Drive-Thru.

Looking forward in Rotary Year 2021-2022, here are some of the events in which Rotary Club members will be involve

• Carnival in Center Field
• Celebrate EL Reopening Concert
• Summer Concert Series
• July 3rd Fireworks
• 4th of July Parade
• National Night Out
• Celebrate EL in Center Field
• Holiday Gifts for Families in Need
• Light Up the Night in December
• Valentines Event
• Egg Hunt
• Gardening Seminar
• High School Senior Scholarships

The East Longmeadow Rotary Club, chartered in 1970, is part of Rotary International, which is a global organization consisting of more than 35,000 Rotary clubs around the world.  Collectively, we work to make lasting contributions not only in our local communities, but around the world.  For example, to name a just a few, Rotary contributes to international efforts to eliminate polio, feed the hungry and provide clean water to people that do not have that luxury.

Our club meets Thursdays at 12:15 at Twin Hills Country Club.  Please be my guest at lunch if you’re considering becoming a member, or you want to learn more about the organization.

Thank you for your overwhelming support!

Jay Seyler, President
2021-2021, East Longmeadow Rotary Club President
